Quiet Moments with God

Dear Daughter,

It’s okay. I’m here. I will never leave you. In everything, I’m here.

You may feel far away but I’m right by your side. Right where I’m suppose to be. Did you forget that? Why do you turn to everyone else?

I’m your father. I know how to take care of you. I know everything about you, your needs, your wants. I’m here. Try me.

You don’t have to be afraid. I know there’s a storm in your life right now but don’t you trust me to bring you through? Why do you keep trying to rush through this season? I’ve put you here so that we can spend intimate time with one another.

I know the winds are rough and the waves are high but don’t you know I have authority over everything?

You’re safe with me. I’ve loved you forever. I will let nothing happen to you.

I know you want that mountain to move. And it will just as soon as you allow me to move it. See daughter, you keep trying to do it yourself. And just like a dad, I’m watching and waiting for you to come to me and ask me to move it.

I know you want love but see you’re my beloved. I love you so much that I’m molding one that is filled with my love. You see I can’t just give you to anyone, I have to know that he has my heart. That he has true intentions to leading you to me. So please know I’m not withholding love from you just because .. No, I want you to have the very best.

Yes I know. I know all that. I know your past. But that doesn’t matter to me. I still love you. Come to me. Come back to me. Let me hug you, let me hold you.

There’s nothing that can keep me from you. Don’t you know I sent my only son to redeem you. Yes the price was high but I paid it because you’re worth it.

It’s okay. I know. I forgive you and I love you.

You can let down your guard. I’m not man, I won’t lie or hurt you. I’m your father and you’re my daughter. Come into my arms where you belong.

Your Father,
