Before saying YES to the date

daterI don’t know about you but I’m the type of person who doesn’t like to waste time. That’s why it took me so long to get back into the dating game. I didn’t want to date loser after loser. After all, I’m very selective about who I spend my time with. My time is precious and I treat it as such.

So prior to me even stepping back into the dating game, I came up with a few questions that I could ask when someone asked me out on a date.

I’m not one of those girls who get giddy at the thought of being asked on a date. If I say yes, it’s because you’ve at least been able to provide answers to these followings questions that would make me want to learn more about you.

1. Who do you serve?

I mean I gotta find out if we’re equally yoked because there is no need for us to even go on a date if you don’t serve God. How can two walk together unless they agree, that’s what the word tells us. So yeah you bet I’m going to ask that question upfront.

2. What are you looking for?

Some men aren’t looking for anything serious and some are. I need to know which one is asking me on date. Hey, I’m 31 years old and I know exactly what I want so I’m not going to waste time going out with a serial dater.

3. What are your plans for this date?

I mean I need to know if he thinks he’s taking me to the holiday inn.  Does he think it’s going to be a make out session? I’m just saying. Let’s talk about the type of woman I am prior to going on the date.

I’m not saying you have to take my advice by asking questions before saying yes to the date but I’m telling you, it will could save you from wasting a lot of time. Sure you could go on a date and get a free meal but what’s the point of suffering through a date if you don’t have to.
